Typhoon Yagi affects Northern Vietnamese Operation

Typhoon Yagi, which is the strongest to hit the Southeast Asian country in decades, made landfall this past weekend with winds of up to 92mph, causing flash floods and landslides in the Northern part of the country.

With over 500,000 breeding ducks in Vietnam, and 150,000 housed in the north, near Hanoi, Cherry Valley's farms and hatchery have also been affected.

Not only did the typhoon cause damage to poultry houses and outbuildings, but a series of floods have now affected the same area causing further disruption and danger to life.

In total, Cherry Valley Haid has lost close to 25,000 breeders.

However, the good news is that all staff members are safe and well.
