Whole crispy peking duck

For that dinner party starter or buffet food, it does not come any better or more convenient than this. Each pack contains the equivalent to four and a half Crispy Aromatic Duck portions from your local takeaway menu!

Crispy DuckBoneless Roast Duck

All appliances vary, the following is a guideline only.  Cook from defrost.

Preheat oven to 200C/400F/Gas Mark 6. Remove a defrosted half duck from all packaging and place on a baking tray and cook for 30-35 minutes. Ensure duck is piping hot and thoroughly cooked before shredding.

Alternatively for a truly authentic eat, microwave the defrosted half duck for 2 minutes (750W) and then deep fry for 2 minutes (190C). The duck will be crispy as if straight from the Chinese kitchen.

Pancakes

Open pouch and place in a microwave. Microwave on full power (650w category B) for 30 seconds. Remove from pouch and separate immediately.

Pour hoisin sauce into a small bowl to serve.

Serve

Shred the duck with two forks as required. Take the pancakes and spread a teaspoon of sauce over the base, add an appropriate amount of duck and any of the following: fresh coriander, sliced peppers, mixed salad leaves, spring onion or cucumber. Roll and eat.
