Our Ethics
Operating in the poultry industry, business ethics are high on our priority list. We try and show ethical and social responsibility in all our trading activities.
For instance;
- We use hay as bedding on all of our rearing farms. This hay is not only changed every day but is sourced from local farmers and returned to them as valuable fertilising manure for their crops.
- We make sure our duck feed contains only natural ingredients and does not contain any bonemeal or additives.
- We are actively looking at ways to reduce our company carbon foot print such as using production waste in bio fuels.
Deep down Cherry Valley is a community company. All of our operations are based in North Lincolnshire, the vast majority of employees live in the area and we support the local area as frequently as we can – from sponsoring local fetes to working with our residential neighbours.
