History
Cherry Valley was founded in 1959 and has been supplying raw oven ready ducks to Chinese caterers ever since.
As a Chinese catering food supplier, the demands and requirements of Chinese caterers are a primary interest of the Marketing department at Cherry Valley. Over many years we have worked with the trade to develop a duck that is ideally suited to the needs to Chinese caterers in Europe. This partnership has driven our market leading bird quality – our birds have been independently proven to contain more meat and less fat than competitor birds and our “A” Grade duck has become the bird of choice for the market.
Sitting along side our “A” Grade raw duckling, we launch the County brand to the market just over 10 years ago. At a slightly lower pricing point that “A” Grade, the County brand is designed for the Chinese caterer who needs to balance price and quality (thought County has been proven to be the 2nd best quality product in the market, just behind our “A” Grade).
As modern lifestyle pressures drive chefs to look for more convenient and quicker cooking time options, we have recently launched two pre-cooked duck products to the market. Our Boneless Roast duck is authentically flavoured and cooked in Chinese ovens and has become an instant favourite with our customers because of its quality yet convenient format.
This year we have followed up the launch of Boneless Roast Duck with a Cherry Valley Crispy Aromatic Duck. Launched in May of this year, look out for this product and any future Cherry Valley developments from your wholesaler or supermarket!

CHERRY VALLEY TO SHOWCASE QUALITY ON ASIAN THEATRE
Cherry Valley has signed up for the Associated Theatre Package with Phoenix Chinese Channel for a period of 52 weeks.
